Common Questions Before You Write
Can you help me understand my settlement offer?
We're not attorneys and can't evaluate whether a specific offer is fair for your situation — that requires someone who knows your full case. What we can do is help you understand the statutory formula behind your results. If a step in the math breakdown is confusing or a number looks wrong, describe what you're seeing and we'll explain how it was calculated.
My state isn't listed — can you add it?
Yes, and we want to hear from you. We're actively adding states and prioritize by request volume. Right now we cover New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and California. If your state isn't listed, send us a message — your request goes directly into our backlog. States with the most requests get built first.
I think there's an error in the calculator formula.
Formula accuracy matters more to us than anything else on this site. If you believe a rate is outdated or a calculation step is wrong, please include: the state, the specific step you think is incorrect, and the source you're comparing it against (official state agency pages are best). We'll verify it against the statute and update the calculator if you're right. We take every report seriously and respond to all of them.
Can you explain my math breakdown results?
Absolutely. Tell us your state, injury type, and which step in the breakdown is unclear. We'll walk you through the formula in plain language. We can't tell you what to do with the number or whether to accept an offer — but we can make sure you understand exactly how it was calculated and where each input came from.
Do you share my information with attorneys or anyone else?
No. We do not sell leads, share contact information, or refer cases to attorneys, law firms, or any third party. This is not an attorney referral service. We are developers who built a calculator. The information you submit through this form is used solely to respond to your message — nothing else. If you need legal representation, your state bar association's lawyer referral service is a good place to start.
